Visitors to the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid

Visitors to the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid should park in Turner Avenue Parking Garage, located two blocks west of Hulston Hall.

No later than one day in advance of your visit, please call 573-882-6042 or e-mail umclawadmissions@missouri.edu  to secure parking in the garage. An invitation from the MU Law Admissions Office will be sent to you for the parking permit. Please accept the invite and follow the instructions. You will need your car information ready to fill-in this invite, that information will include the car plate, color, make and model.

If there is a change in your means of transportation the day of your visit, please call or e-mail the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid.

Other Visitors to Hulston Hall

Those who visit Hulston Hall for any office other than the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid should park in Turner Avenue Garage, located two blocks west of Hulston Hall.

To register for parking in Turner Avenue Garage the day of your visit, please visit the MU Office of Parking & Transportation Services and proceed to the online portal in the Visitor Permit Section. You will be required to enter your car’s make, model, color and license plate information (including state of issue) to secure parking in the garage.

To secure parking before your visit, visit the Parking and Transportation office to have the staff assist you. The office is located in the General Services Building, room 121 (900 E. Stadium Blvd, Columbia, MO 65212). Phone: 573-882-4568.

Directions

There are many ways to reach the University of Missouri campus. Online maps may suggest a different route than listed below. These directions are the most direct route to the law school and appropriate parking garage.

By Car

From the East (St. Louis) via Interstate 70 West

  1. Take Columbia exit for U.S. Route 63 (exit 128A), turn left (south) at the top of the exit ramp.
  2. Take the Stadium Boulevard exit and turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
  3. Follow Stadium Boulevard to Tiger Avenue (approximately two miles).
  4. Turn right onto Tiger Avenue, just after Monk Drive.
  5. Follow Tiger Avenue through campus to Turner Avenue.
  6. Turn left onto Turner Avenue. Turner Avenue Parking Garage will be on your right.
  7. Once you have parked, exit the garage on foot on the east end.
  8. As you exit the parking garage, you will see a large red brick building in front of you. This is the Reynolds Alumni Center. Walk around the Alumni Center and cross the quadrangle. The home of the law school, Hulston Hall, will be directly in front of you.

From the West (Kansas City) via Interstate 70 East

  1. Take the Columbia exit for Stadium Boulevard (exit 124).
  2. Turn right (south) at the top of the exit ramp.
  3. Follow Stadium Boulevard through several stoplights to campus (approximately four miles).
  4. Immediately past the football stadium, make a left onto Tiger Avenue.
  5. Follow Tiger Avenue through campus to Turner Avenue.
  6. Turn left onto Turner Avenue. Turner Parking Garage will be on your right.
  7. Once you have parked, exit the garage on foot on the east end.
  8. As you exit the parking garage, you will see a large red brick building in front of you. This is the Reynolds Alumni Center. Walk around the Alumni Center and cross the quadrangle. The home of the law school, Hulston Hall, will be directly in front of you.

From the North (Kirksville) or South (Jefferson City) via U.S. Route 63

  1. From U.S. Route 63, take the Stadium Boulevard exit.
  2. Turn west (left if you were traveling north on the highway, right if you were traveling south).
  3. Follow Stadium Boulevard to Tiger Avenue (approximately two miles).
  4. Turn right onto Tiger Avenue, just after Monk Drive.
  5. Follow Tiger Avenue through campus to Turner Avenue.
  6. Turn left and Turner Parking Garage will be on your right.
  7. Once you have parked, exit the garage on foot on the east end.

By Air

Flying to Kansas City or St. Louis

Columbia is equidistant from Kansas City and St. Louis, providing three options for air travel — Kansas City International Airport (airport code MCI) or Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (airport code STL). From either airport, a rental car or airport shuttle will be necessary for travel to Columbia. Allow at least two hours for this drive.

Flying to Columbia

The Columbia Regional Airport (airport code COU) is served by American Airlines and United Airlines, with daily non-stop flights from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on American, and Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Denver International Airport on United. The airport is located off of U.S. Route 63, approximately 12 miles south of the University of Missouri campus. Ground transportation is available by shuttle and taxi or car rental through Avis, Budget, Enterprise and Hertz.
