Location & Parking

The Law School is located in Hulston Hall, on the campus of the University of Missouri. Metered parking is available at Turner Garage two blocks west of the law school. Metered visitor parking is available on levels 3, 6 and 7. Each visitor space is numbered. If the space does not have a number then it is a reserved space requiring a permit. Park in any numbered space and note the number. Fee machines are located at each stairwell.

There are many ways to reach the MU Campus. Online maps will likely provide you with a different route than listed below. We feel that the directions below are the most direct route to the law school and appropriate parking garage.

By Car

From the East (St. Louis) via Interstate 70 West — follow the signs to Kansas City

• Take Columbia Exit for Highway 63 (exit 128A), turn left at the top of the exit ramp (south).
• Take the Broadway exit, turn right at the top of the ramp. Follow Broadway through several stop lights and the downtown area.
• Turn left on 6th Street.
• Follow Sixth St. directly into Turner Parking Garage. Find numbered spot, note the number, pay at machine by stairwell.
• On foot, exit the garage on the east end
• As you exit the parking garage, you will see a large red brick building in front of you. This is the Alumni Center. Walk around the Alumni Center and cross the grassy green "quad." The Law School is the long red brick building directly in front of you.

From the West (Kansas City)via Interstates 435 South and 70 East — follow the signs to St. Louis

• Take the Columbia Exit for Stadium Boulevard (MO-740), exit 124, turn right at the top of the exit ramp (south).
• Follow Stadium through several stoplights to campus (approx 4 miles). You will see the Football Stadium on the right.
• Turn left on Tiger Avenue (just past the stadium). Follow Tiger Avenue through campus to Conley Avenue.
• Turn left onto Conley Avenue.
• Turn left at the first stop sign (6th Street). This will take you directly into Turner Avenue Parking Garage.
• Find numbered spot, note the number, pay at machine by stairwell.
• On foot, exit the garage on the east end.

From the North (Kirksville) or South (Jefferson City)

• Take Highway 63.
• Take the Broadway exit (MO-WW).
• (Turn left at the top of the ramp if you were on 63 Northbound)
• (Turn right at the top of the ramp if you were on 63 Southbound)
• Follow Broadway through several stop lights and the downtown area.
• Turn left on 6th Street.

By Air

Columbia is equidistant from Kansas City (126 miles) and St. Louis (125 miles). You may wish to fly either into Kansas City International Airport (airport code MCI) or St. Louis Lambert Airport (airport code STL). You will then need to rent a car or use an airport shuttle to arrive in Columbia. Allow at least two hours for this drive.

Flying to Columbia

You may fly directly into Columbia to the Columbia Regional Airport which is a fifteen minute drive from the MU Campus and downtown area. You may contact the regional airport for flight information at 573-874-7508. Car rental is available through Hertz and Enterprise.
