Clinical Programs
The School of Law offers numerous clinical programs to students who wish to experience the practice of law prior to graduation. Clinical opportunities include criminal prosecution, child protection, domestic violence in juvenile and civil courts, and mediation. For details, see individual descriptions of clinic courses and their accompanying seminars. In clinics, Rule 13 certified law students represent real clients under the close supervision of a faculty member. Clinical faculty use students' actual case experiences as the focus of their teaching of professional skills and values. Students interested in a clinical program should talk with the following professors:| Clinic | Professor |
| Criminal | Kandice Johnson |
| Family Violence Family Violence Clinic |
Mary Beck |
| Legislative | Ken Dean |
| Mediation | James Levin |
