The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.
Hi, my name is Bianca De Amorim and I am going to be a 2L. I was born in Brazil and my family moved to Boston when I was four years old. When I was 16 I moved to Platte City, Missouri, where I finished high school. I went to Missouri Western State University for my Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.I picked Mizzou Law for many reasons. First, Mizzou has a reasonably low tuition rate. You cannot find any other law school with this quality for this low price. Second, the professors are highly qualified. You will learn each subject matter from the most qualified attorneys. Even though the professors are brilliant, they are also very approachable. As a matter of fact, they encourage you to stop by their office if you ever need any help or just want to say hello. Third, Mizzou Law feels like a big family. Everyone gets along so well and it is not the cut throat environment like the stories you hear about law school.
