Hi! My name is Elizabeth Grondalski and I am a 3L at Mizzou Law. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri (went to St. Joe!) and graduated from St. Louis University in May 2011 with a BA in Political Science and Certificates in Legal Studies and Leadership Development.
At first, I was a little worried coming from a smaller private university to a big public university, but as it turns out, I had nothing to worry about! Mizzou has numerous clubs and organizations to get involved in and the staff, faculty and professors are always more than willing to help in any way that they can, solidifying the great family-like atmosphere that surrounds Mizzou Law. However, one of the greatest aspects responsible for this atmosphere, in my opinion, is the students themselves.
The small class size at Mizzou Law really allows you to bond with your fellow classmates and to become more of a family rather than just people who you go to school with. You are all struggling through the same teachers, readings, assignments, and exams, genuinely caring about each other and helping each other be the best that you can be and creating great memories as you go. And as I have learned, Mizzou Law is extremely unique in this regard. Therefore, I am very happy to report that Mizzou Law and the people in it have become my home away from home and I could not be more satisfied in my decision to attend Mizzou Law! I know choosing a law school can be a long and arduous process so please don’t hesitate to contact me about anything and everything you might be concerned with! Good Luck!
