The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.
Hello, my name is Nick Henry and I am currently a first year law student at the University of Missouri School of Law.
I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri and received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Drury University in 2011. After graduation I worked for two years as an Associate Scientist for a local environmental consulting company. While there I developed a love for reading and studying laws and regulations. After developing this interest I decided that law school was where I needed to be.
During the application process I applied to several schools and was fortunate enough to be admitted. In the beginning I knew that Mizzou was a logical place for me to study but did not know if it was the place I wanted to study. The entire process of applying to Mizzou completely changed my mind. I toured multiple law schools and after attending admitted students day at Mizzou there was no longer a doubt in my mind as to where I wanted to study law. Mizzou truly made me feel at home from the beginning of the process and that is an element of the school that has not changed one bit since arriving on campus. Not only is Mizzou a responsible decision for many reasons but also I truly believe it is the best atmosphere to learn law and develop the skills it takes to be a successful lawyer.
I promise that if you visit the University of Missouri and get a taste of this school, you will instantly fall in love. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions. I love talking to prospective students and most of all I love talking about my school. MIZ-ZOU!
