The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.
Hi, my name is Brittney Herron and I am a 1L here at Mizzou. I’ve lived in St. Louis, MO but I frequently travel to San Diego, CA. It’s my home away from home. I attended Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Business Administration. After undergrad I took a few years off to experience Corporate America. Although I loved my job, I always knew the plan was to attend law school.
For me, attending Mizzou was one of the easier choices I’ve made. Mizzou is located just far enough from my hometown distractions, but still keeps me close enough to my support system. The law school’s atmosphere is amazing. Not only do the students support each other, but the staff and faculty will also be one of your biggest advocates. The affordable tuition was another great selling point. Stressing about finances while in law school was something that I just could not do! Looking back at my decision to attend Mizzou I feel as if I have gotten the best deal out of law school, a quality education at a much appreciated price.
