The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.
Hey there! My name is Kate and I am a 2L at Mizzou Law. I am from Saint Louis, MO and a huge STL sports fan (Go Cards and Blues!). For all of you fellow St. Louisans that are about to ask, I went to Rosati-Kain High School in the Central West End (Go Kougars!). For undergrad, I went to Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO and played softball there.
Coming from such small private schools that were close to home, I was very nervous about attending such a big school for law school, not to mention being more than a thirty minute drive from home for the first time! However, I was quickly put at ease. Mizzou Law is filled with so many friendly, helpful, and collaborative people. While law school can be a very tough endeavor, it has been so relieving to be surrounded with such a supportive environment that truly is geared towards student success. I really enjoy that Mizzou Law preserves a small tight-knit community within the large college campus of Mizzou. Here at Mizzou Law, you really get the chance to embrace the best of both worlds. You will get to know everyone in your class by name as well as have the opportunity to participate in all that big college campuses have to offer such as football games and other social events.
Therefore, I am happy to say that Mizzou Law has become my home away from home and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you have!
