The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.

An outstanding faculty with award-winning teachers who rank consistently high in scholarly productivity and impact.
Students rave about the friendly staff and great study space in the MU Law Library.
My name is Aaron LaPlante and I’m a 3L at MU Law. I grew up in Baton Rouge, LA, but went to High School (Rockood Summit) and undergrad (Saint Louis University) in St. Louis. I participated in Mock Trial, Student Government Associaiton, and the Service Leadership Program at SLU while studying Accounting. I also spent two years after undergrad teaching Algebra and English in the St. Louis Public Schools as part of my commitment to Teach For America.
I love the St Louis Cardinals, LSU Football, and (of course) all Mizzou Sports. I’m currently doing research for a professor in Education Law and somewhat undecided as to what kind of law I want to practice. All I really know is that I want to be a trial lawyer and spend as much time as possible in front of a jury.
Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have about law school, life in law school, or even life outside of law school.
