The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.
Hello, prospective students, my name is Paul Schwinn. I am a 3L here at the Law School. The MU School of Journalism lured me in all the way from Rockville, Maryland. I earned my bachelor’s of journalism with an emphasis in broadcast. I was once one of the entertaining reporters at KOMU8, thrust onto live TV while still learning to read a prompter.
I am a diehard sports fan, and my favorite teams all seem to die hard. I try not to miss a Nationals, Redskins or Wizards game, even though it would be easier just to tune it out.
My Law School search started three years ago, when I realized the majority of my peers wanted the same job as me. (9am Sportscenter anchor) My search quickly narrowed after I looked into staying here in Columbia. I worked for the office of development in lieu of reporting one semester and I was sold. Meeting the staff and faculty made my decision a breeze.
I may be biased, but I like to think I’m very approachable. So if you have any questions at all, feel free to email me or find me buried under books in the library. If you couldn’t infer it already, I’m a news reporter studying to be an attorney, so you know you can trust anything I say.
