Event Description : Come listen to Larry Purdy, counsel for the plaintiffs in the 2003 University of Michigan Supreme Court Affirmative Action decision, and Thomas A. Saenz, president and General Counsel for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), as they present the case for and against college admissions that favor minorities. With the United States Supreme Court set to rule this term on the Fisher v. University of Texas case, college admissions that take race into account may be struck down as unconstitutional! Free Chipotle and drinks will be provided to the first 150 attendees!
