The MU School of Law offers a collegial environment, reinforced by a small student body and a low faculty-student ratio. The intimacy of this setting, coupled with reasonable cost, consistently high bar passage rates, a network of alumni around the globe and access to top scholars in the legal world, make MU Law one of the best values in the nation.
Hi! My name is Taylor Leonard and I am a 2L from Southlake, Texas. Although Southlake is my "hometown" I have lived many places including Chicago, St. Louis, and Denver. As an undergrad I also attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. During my undergrad tenure at Mizzou I was involved in Greek Life and many other student organizations. I have wanted to be a lawyer for as long as I can recall and choosing Mizzou for law school seemed like a no brainer. Columbia is an incredible college-town and the law school's reputation for excellence and opportunities throughout the state of Missouri (and nationally) sealed the deal. I'm still deciding what kind of law I would like to pursue but currently I'm incredibly interested in tort litigation, employment litigation, or criminal work. I'm very excited to see what the future holds!
