BOB BAILEY WILL GIVE TALKS ABOUT ARBITRATION TALKS AND WAS APPOINTED TO NATIONAL ACADEMCY OF ARBITRATORS COMMITTEE
Center Director Bob Bailey is giving three talks on March 26 to faculty and students at Willamette School of Law on baseball salary arbitration, and will be hosted by Sukhsimranjit Singh (LLM ’06), the associate director of Willamette’s Center for Dispute Resolution.  In addition, Bob has been appointed to the National Academy of Arbitrators Annual Planning Committee and reappointed as the Academy’s Parliamentarian.

PROF. PHILIP HARTER WILL TEACH AT VERMONT LAW SCHOOL
Prof. Philip J. Harter will teach “ADR and the Environment” at Vermont Law School from June 1-17 this summer.

PROF. RICHARD REUBEN QUOTED IN JOPLIN GLOBE AND CONDUCTED A TRAINING FOR THE MISSOURI SECRETARY OF STATE’S OFFICE
Prof. Richard Reuben was quoted in the March 17 Joplin Globe on a Cole County lawsuit against a Joplin-based utility company. The lawsuit asks a Cole County judge to invalidate a legislative exemption to the rebates sought in the lawsuit.  On Monday, March 22, Reuben conducted a full-day negotiation training for the Missouri Securities Division of the Secretary of State’s Office.

ANDY GANGE TAKES POSITION WITH ADR PROGRAM IN BALTIMORE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT
Andy Gange (LL.M. ’09) has accepted a position in the civil, family, and domestic ADR program at the Baltimore County Circuit Court.  He also works with the Maryland Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office on its ADR Evaluation Support System (ADRESS) pilot program this Spring.  Baltimore County is one of four counties to be a part of the pilot rollout for ADRESS.
