ANNUAL CSDR  SYMPOSIUM
RESOLVING IP DISPUTES: CALLING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE PARADIGM
OCTOBER 4, MU LAW SCHOOL
The Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution is sponsoring its annual symposium on October 4, Resolving IP Disputes: Calling for an Alternative Paradigm. This year’s Journal of Dispute Resolution symposium explores alternative mechanisms for resolving patent disputes and for proactively transforming would-be disputes into cooperative business arrangements. The symposium will be published in the Journal of Dispute Resolution and is approved for 4.5 hours of CLE credit in Missouri. For details, email colemanl@missouri.edu.

LLM PROGRAM WELCOMES NEW CLASS
We are pleased to introduce our 2013 LL.M. class, another experienced, talented, and diverse group. This year the LL.M. Program will have 12 students, including 11 new students and 1 continuing student. Again we have students from around the world including new students from China, Nigeria, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, and Spain. SAMUKELISIWE DLAMINI ADMITTED AS AN ATTORNEY
Samukelisiwe Dlamini (LLM ’11) was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of the Republic of South Africa on August 26. She started a new job on Sept. 2 as a deeds examiner with the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform in Nelspruit. Her new job is an opportunity to learn more in the field of conveyancing. Congratulations Samu!
