Prof. Richard Reuben is giving a talk on democracy and dispute resolution in the Yale-Quinnipiac Dispute Resolution series today in New Haven, CT.

PROF. PHIL HARTER SPEAKS IN WASHINGTON, DC
Prof. Phil Harter is speaking today in Washington, DC at the "ADR in Environmental, Land, and Natural Resources Disputes" conference, which is co-sponsored by the U.S. Institute of Environmental Conflict Resolution and the Federal Bar Association. Prof. Harter is on a panel on the "Use and Experience of ADR," and is the moderator of a panel on "Dealing with the Press in Multi-party Environmental Disputes: Challenges with Confidentiality."

VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW Northwestern University School of Law seeks applicants for its Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) Program including VAPs specializing in negotiations. VAP functions similar to a post-doctoral program, permitting scholars to make progress on research and teaching prior to entering a tenure-track position and then enables them to seek better tenure-track positions than they might otherwise have obtained. VAPs join the faculty on a full-time basis for at least one semester and typically teach one course per semester while receiving research support.
