A Victim Offender Dialogue Training will be held July 25-26 at the University of Missouri School of Law. The Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution is one of the co-sponsors. Jiaqi Liang (LL.M. ’07) will present a paper at the University of Massachusetts Boston Conflict Studies Conference on Oct. 31 - Nov. 1. This will be the paper she wrote for her LL.M. Major Research Project.
BRIAN PAPPAS WILL BEGIN NEW JOB AND IS GETTING MARRIED
Brian Pappas will begin a new job on July 1 as the Associate Director of the ADR Program at Michigan State University ' s College of Law , where he will conduct mediation trainings, organize symposia events, and lead program activities. He will graduate with his LL.M. in August. Brian also will be getting married at the end of August to Deborah Gutovitz in Kansas City . Congratulations Brian!
Additionally, Brian co-authored an article entitled "Confidentiality in Mediation: A Reality Check for the Process." The article was published in the April issue of ADR Quarterly, the State Bar of Michigan's ADR Section Newsletter and in May's issue of Laches, the Journal of the Oakland (Michigan) County Bar Association.
