Directions for On-Line Registration
Many of Mizzou’s schools and colleges, including the School of Law, are utilizing a recently launched career website. Law students who wish to participate in On-Campus Interviews (OCI) must register on this site. One of the advantages of this site is that student resumes can be uploaded to participating employers. However, your resume must be approved before you can upload it to the site. Take a copy of your resume to the Office of Professional Development and have it approved by either Assistant Dean Tamra Wilson Setser or Coordinator of Career Development Andrea Follett. After your resume has been approved, you may upload it according to the directions listed below. Step 1: Go to www.hiremizzoutigers.com. Under the heading Students/Alumni, click on Enter. If you are new to this system, follow these instructions:Step 2: Click on the link Click Here to Register. Step 3: Complete all sections, then click on the Register button. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*). Step 4: Upload your approved resume. Step 5: Click on the Submit Profile button. Note: After you submit your profile, your account will be in “pending” status. An administrator will review your file during regular business hours (in other words, a profile submitted on Thursday evening would not be reviewed until Friday; a profile submitted during a weekend would not be reviewed until the following Monday). If the administrator approves your registration, you gain “active” status and will receive email notification. If you do not receive email notification within two business days of your submission, please call 882-6444. If you have previously created a student profile, follow these instructions:Step 2: Log into the system using your Username and Password. Step 3: Start updating your profile by moving your cursor to My Account and selecting My Profile. Step 4: You will see sections for Personal Information, Demographic Information, Skills, and Additional Information. Each section will have an [Edit] link. Click on this link to edit fields within the section. Step 5: Carefully review each section and complete all of the fields, making sure to click on Save. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*). Step 6: Make sure that your resume is up-to-date and approved before uploading it. If you have questions, call the Office for Career and Professional Development at 882-6444.
