Reciprocity Policy
- Reciprocity is only offered to those from schools that also provide access to job listings for University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) School of Law graduates or students.
- Reciprocity is unavailable during the on-campus interviewing seasons, August 22 through the first week of November, and second week of January through the middle of March.
- Requests must be made in writing by a placement or career-counseling administrative officer. Requests must include the address of the graduate or student.
- Reciprocity visitors must abide by Office procedures. They must (1) call ahead (573)882-7386 to ascertain convenient office hours; (2) identify themselves on each office visit.
- The following services are unavailable under reciprocity privileges: counseling, resume referral and on-campus interviewing.
- An applicant must state in each employer cover letter that, through a reciprocal agreement with the applicant's school, the job listing was provided by the Office of Professional Development at the MU School of Law.
- The Assistant Dean or Director of Professional Development can deny further services to any school surpassing a reasonable number of reciprocity requests within any calendar year.
- The Assistant Dean or Director of Professional Development can deny further services to any individual who misuses the Professional Development facilities or services.
