Using the Word Count Feature in Word and WordPerfect

In Microsoft Word

  1. Under the Tools menu on the upper toolbar, select Word Count. This will provide the word count for the entire document.
  2. To do a word count on a limited portion of the text, select that text first prior to using the word count feature.

In WordPerfect

  1. Go to the File menu on the main toolbar.
  2. Click on the Properties selection.
  3. Click on the word Information.
