| Phi
Delta Phi is the oldest professional fraternity in existence. Established
in 1869, our membership currently stands at over 191,000. Phi Delta Phi
was founded on the premise of promoting ethics in the legal profession
and today tries to impress upon law students the need for integrity and
strong ethical ties within the legal community as well as professionalism
and scholarship. Phi Delta Phi is restricted to students who are not members
of any other legal fraternity.
For a complete
list of notable Phi Delta Phi members, please refer to the membership
information page.
Our local
MU chapter, Tiedeman Inn, has been in existence since 1890 and since
that time we have had over two-thousand members. Tiedeman Inn's members
range from practicing lawyers, judges, at least one Missouri governor along
with current U.S. Congressman, Ike Skelton. We invite you to explore our
website in order to learn more about our Inn. If you have any questions,
please contact us.
