I went to Mizzou for undergrad, and graduated from the College of Arts and Science with a degree in Psychology in 2007. During undergrad, I was involved in MSA Student Court , Judicial Peer Advisory Council, Academic Integrity Panel, and was a member of the honors fraternity Phi Beta Kappa and Delta Delta Delta sorority. Since beginning law school in August, I have been involved with the Student Ambassadors, Women's Law Association, and Phi Alpha Delta. Mizzou was my home away from home for so long, I didn't want to leave! However, this worked out great because the School of Law at MU is really top notch! The law school provides a great learning environment where you not only get to learn from nationally recognized professors, but also other students who have diverse and interesting backgrounds. The professors are honestly outstanding, and are always available to answer questions and talk with students. Mizzou is also nationally recognized in the growing area of Alternative Dispute Resolution. The law school is located in Columbia which not only has great attractions, such as the Historic Downtown District, the Katy Trail, and Shakespeare's (the best pizza in town!), but also has a great location being right in the middle of St. Louis and Kansas City, and only half an hour from the state capital in Jefferson City! Although I have only been in law school for a short time, I am so glad that I made the decision to come to law school at Mizzou. The law school provides not only an environment for intellectual growth, but personal growth as well. Every day I am amazed by how much I am learning and growing, and I have the encouraging words of my professors and fellow students to thank! If you have any questions about law school, Mizzou, or Columbia in general please e-mail me at . Good luck in searching for the perfect law school to call home, but hopefully when you visit Mizzou you will look no further! |
