Hello, my name is Ryan Westhoff, and I am a third year student at the School of Law . I am originally from Jefferson City , but later ended up in Lee's Summit , MO for high school. I attended college at Kansas State University and received my Architecture degree in May of 2005.

For most of my life, I never considered becoming a lawyer because architecture was my passion. I changed my mind about this when I was working for an architecture firm in Dallas and found myself more interested in legal and business aspects of real estate development and construction, rather than the design aspect. I chose law as a path to that goal, and Mizzou was the best first step I could take.

As soon as I arrived, I felt that MU was the perfect fit. The law school balances quality of education along with indisputable value. Moreover, the academic atmosphere promotes challenging and positive learning for everyone as opposed to exclusion and cutthroat competition. When you make Mizzou your first choice for law school, you will be choosing a school that will shape and stimulate your mind for three challenging years, facilitate numerous rewarding friendships, and leave you with the satisfaction that you are on your way to becoming the best attorney you can be.

Feel free to shoot me an email with any questions. rcw6cf@mizzou.edu
